You and your churches are invited to Steps for Life!

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

Steps for Life - it’s a significant event with an important message! It’s also a great time to fellowship with family and friends and become familiar with other local pro-life ministries. Here are some ways that you can encourage your church to get involved.

The theme we picked for this year’s walk is “Wonderfully Made.” It mixes our message of life with a thought-provoking phrase declaring the worth of every person of every race.

You can be a key person who fills in the gap between the Pregnancy Care Centers and your church. We want to help you as you encourage your church to embrace the sanctity of life and find a way to do something to support life. There are various tools and helps that we can offer for your success as we stand against abortion and for life. Many of you used the promo videos last year. These are available again.  If you are not comfortable speaking in front of groups, invite one of our speakers! Stop by the center nearest you to see the t-shirts, pick up posters and pledge forms, as well as any additional materials like a DVD or a bulletin insert master.

Remember, the youth and kids aren’t the only ones who can participate in the walk to support life and earn a shirt or hoodie. Get the adults excited too! Some awesome prizes have been donated for you to win! Register as a team or compete for the most pledges individually! For those who prefer not to walk or run, the ministry booths will be open for perusal all day. The kids can anticipate a fun program and games after the walk.

There are people available for phone calls, ideas, and even a  fun promo at your church.

Dear Pastors,

There is no end to the various ministry opportunities before you and your congregation, and I know that you have very full schedules. At the same time, you have proven that you highly esteem and value the sanctity of human life. As a ministry, the Pregnancy Care Centers want to be here as a resource and place of development for many of the people you are discipling and training as followers of Christ. Some people may be facing tough pregnancies and others may be looking for a way to help.

Steps for Life is a life-focused event that benefits your local Pregnancy Care Center.  We not only extend an invitation for your church to participate, but also to spend the day with other pro-life people from the community.  This year Steps for Life will be held at Molalla Nazarene. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the walk at 10:00 a.m. There will be a short program afterwards followed by concessions, a children’s program and booths of other ministries. We’d love to see you there! This is an excellent opportunity to gather pro-life resources, explore the tables of many local organizations, speak to their representatives and find opportunities for ministry. All ages are welcome and can participate as desired.

It is significant to the Pregnancy Care Centers as well, as 100% of the funds raised go toward extending hope and help into our communities, seeking to save the lives of the unborn and also their parents.

Here is a chance for your church to stand for life and help make the womb a safer place for the unborn. The theme of this year is “Wonderfully Made,” declaring that each individual is unique and valuable, designed by our Creator.

As a leader to the church, I encourage you to support this event and make it known. The church representatives have ideas and tools on how they can help promote this year’s Steps For Life, and your support makes a big difference on who comes and participates.

Encourage your youth group, small group or Sunday School class to form a team to compete for the awesome prizes (a team is 2-8 people)!

  • Need help setting up the facility in the morning and cleaning up in the afternoon.

  • Crosswalk attendants to mediate traffic and walkers

  • Help with the delicious food in the concession stand
